Driver CPC (Periodic Training)

Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) or Periodic Training will be available through Fleet Dynamic Consultancy Ltd from June 2010.

We offer competitive rates and discount offers for business's that already use our services.

Training can be provided in single day sessions (7 hours) or in weekly blocks (35 hours). We use excellent training rooms based in Wigan, North West UK. This facility has excellent dining facilities or a finger buffet lunch can be provided, depending on numbers. Refreshments are provided and if there are any special requirements, please notify us 7 days before the course begins.

After each completed 7 hour course, you will receive a Certificate of attendance. We can break the course down over a 24hr period into 3.5hr courses for operational ease. Once 35 hours have been completed, you will be issued your driver card. Our next CPC Dates are noted below but please note that we can train Nationwide and at your convenience!

"Excellent course, really enjoyed it" - Driver CPC

We know only too well how much most drivers detest the idea of Driver CPC and we get all the usual comments at the start of every course with the typical pose, arms folded with a look of "what on earth are you going to teach me that I don't already know?".
Having recently taken on a large CPC training contract with a multi national distribution company, the feedback from the drivers has been exceptional. All of the courses start off with the drivers walking in with little or no enthusiasm but Fleet dynamic managed to change this around. This course is about Drivers, recognising them for the true Professionals they really are. This encourages them to do a good job and take pride in saving fuel, wanting to know what their kilometres per litre score is and so on. Let’s face it, without HGV drivers we wouldn't have anything!
So with this in mind, we want to promote the Driver CPC, whether you train with us at one of our many training rooms, located Nationwide or perhaps with another training provider, from feedback received from all of our courses, we want to encourage you, your drivers, agency drivers, self employed drivers to book on our taster seminar. This will give you the opportunity to see for yourself what the CPC is all about, meet the team and see our new site. We can even come to you and discuss your training concerns and needs. There is no pressure, no hard sell! We just want people to understand the benefits and how easy it is.

Digital Tachograph Training (Management & Drivers)

Even if you haven’t yet started using digital tachographs, or you’re currently operating a mixed fleet, we have the training package for you. We can even incorporate analogue tachograph training, should you require it.
Aimed at Managers and Drivers operating or planning to operate Digital Tachograph vehicles:-

Transport Manager / Supervisor training

This course is designed and delivered by an experienced Transport Manager and Operator. Its focus is on a Transport Managers responsibilities, legal compliance, current legislation and how to keep up with the changes in that legislation. The course also covers, People Management, managing change, Driver CPC, how to create and maintain vehicle files, tachograph storage and much more.

It specifically concentrates on how to be a “good operator”.
